Paris, one of most popular travel destinations in the world and the city with the biggest amount of hotels, is called world fashion capital and the capital of all enamored. Another Paris symbols are Arc de Triomphe and Champs Elysees, starting from the Arc. This arc was planed by Napoleon who was impressed by the Roman Triumph Arc. However the construction of the Arc was finished only some twenty years after his death. Now the Arc is a starting point for military parades.

Now its image along with the images of the Eiffel Tower and Arc de Triomphe adorn the most of the Paris postcards. The cathedral is the heart of the whole France. The distance from the Paris to any point of the country is measured from the Notre Dame. It’s called the zero kilometer. Louvre is the biggest palace and art museum in the world. It has a lot of art treasures, including the famous Mona Lisa by Leonardo da Vinci. The visitors are allowed to make a photo of anything in the museum but this picture.
Modern Paris also has some interesting places to visit. One of the most remarkable modern districts is La Defense. Arche de la Defense represents almost a perfect glass cube with the governmental offices inside. Paris consists not only of buildings the picturesque Luxembourg Garden is surely a place you shouldn’t miss while visiting Paris.
